IDocs can be monitored and processed using the transaction 'WLF_IDOC'. The program offers many options in the selection screen to monitor or process only what is relevant to you or to the key user.
You should perhaps hide some functions for the key user or restrict them through permissions, since depending on which target group uses the program, general users should not be allowed to use functions such as being able to change control records or change the IDcos themselves.
Functions such as change control record, copy IDoc and delete segment as well as change IDoc status are not displayed in the productive system if Client Role is set to productive.
To display these three functions, do the following:
1st option:
- Authorization for the transaction
- User has set the parameter RWLFIDOC_NEW_EXPERT with parameter value = X (transaction SU3)
- After selecting the IDocs, enter “&EXPERT” in the transaction field
2nd option:
- BAdI WLF_REPORT_PROCESS_BD
- Method ADJUST_STATUS: Remove function codes from CT_EXTAB
The function itself, that IDocs can be edited, must be done in Customizing (SPRO - Cross-Application Components - IDoc Monitor - Specify settings for IDoc processing).
