In SAP, a Business Partner (BP) Record is a central repository of information about entities with which the company interacts in its business processes. These entities can include customers, vendors, employees, contacts, and other external parties such as banks, consultants, or even government authorities. The Business Partner concept is central to the SAP Customer Relationship Management (CRM), SAP S/4HANA, and SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) systems, providing a unified structure for managing and organizing business partner information across different modules like Sales and Distribution (SD), Materials Management (MM), Finance (FI), and Supplier Relationship Management (SRM).
